COVID-19 Health & Safety Precautions

Here at Brownstone Psychiatry the safety of our staff and patients are of upmost importance to us.  During this time of heightened health and safety concerns, we’re following CDC, state and local guidelines closely. 

 

Here are some of the policies we implemented.

- Effective immediately all patients will be seen virtually.

Telemedicine ensures the safety of both our patients & staff.

- All in-office staff must wear face masks while on the property.

- We practice social distancing.

- Increased the frequency of hand washing.

- Increased the frequency of disinfection of  frequently touched

items & surfaces.

Additional COVID-19 Information

People with COVID-19 have had a wide range of symptoms reported – ranging from mild symptoms to severe illness. Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. People with these symptoms may have COVID-19:

  • Fever or chills

  • Cough

  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

  • Fatigue

  • Muscle or body aches

  • Headache

  • New loss of taste or smell

  • Sore throat

  • Congestion or runny nose

  • Nausea or vomiting

  • Diarrhea
