Troubleshooting MYIO
Resetting Password: There is a “Forgot password” link on both the browser and mobile app login page. When
tapped, you will be prompted to enter your username and the portal email address associated with your
account. The email you receive will provide a link to reset your password. If this fails, your practice is able to
manually reset your password.

App: Make sure your application is running the most recent version. Check the app store and see if there is an
update available. If issues persist, delete the app and re-install it on your device.
Browser: Clearing cookies and cache may help clear up any issues.

Contacting Practice: Contact the practice whenever any of the above troubleshooting steps fail.
Supported Devices, Operating Systems: Mobile device must be able to update to the latest iOS or Android
operating system. Browsers: Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox.
Patient Telehealth Troubleshooting Guide
Multiple factors have an impact on your Telehealth video call quality. If you have experienced an issue, a quick assessment of your microphone, camera, network, and connectivity should be done to see if any of those settings are hindering your ability to conduct Telehealth sessions.
Here are some additional tips to follow:
1. Use this link on the device used to attend a Telehealth session to verify the
system is supported.
2. Close any applications or programs that are NOT needed (including any browser
tabs that are not needed.)
3. Make sure the following are ENABLED
a. Pop Ups (to launch the meeting window)
b. Notifications (to be alerted when a meeting starts even if looking at
another tab/window/application)
4. If you are using a laptop: Keep the laptop plugged in during the telehealth
session or make sure the battery is FULLY CHARGED.
5. Pause any activity that will decrease bandwidth on device such as
a. Video streaming
b. Gaming
c. Downloading or Uploading large files.
6. Move closer to your wi-fi router, ideally within line-of-sight of it. Moving it higher
(e.g., on a desk is better than on the floor) could help, and away from metal
surfaces which can obstruct the wi-fi signal.
