Bridget Barnett

Joining the Brownstone team in July 2026, Bridget Barnett brings both familiarity with the practice and a strong commitment to compassionate, inclusive care. She previously completed her graduate fieldwork with Brownstone during the prior year, allowing her to build meaningful experience with the team and the patients they serve.

Bridget earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in 2020 and her Master of Education in Counseling and Development from Lamar University in 2026. A Texas native, she enjoys traveling to visit friends and loved ones and exploring Houston’s fine arts scene, including museums, Broadway productions, and the ballet.

Bridget has worked with a wide range of clients, but she is especially passionate about supporting adolescents and neurodivergent individuals, including those with ADHD and autism. She also cares deeply about serving and advocating for the LGBTQIA+ community and strives to create a space that is accepting, inclusive, safe, and welcoming for every patient.

Her approach primarily draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy. She helps clients build healthier routines, improve communication, better understand their strengths, and use those strengths to move toward their goals and reach their full potential.
