CARE THAT MEETS YOU WHERE YOU ARE
What Is Telehealth Mental Health Care?
Telehealth allows eligible patients to meet with a Brownstone Psychiatry provider through a secure video appointment. Patients can speak with their provider, discuss symptoms, review progress, receive counseling, and participate in treatment planning from a private location.
A virtual visit follows many of the same steps as an in-person appointment. Your provider will listen to your concerns, ask questions, review relevant health information, and recommend next steps based on your needs.
Telehealth is not appropriate for every patient or service. Your provider may recommend an in-person appointment when a physical assessment, testing, safety concern, or other clinical need cannot be addressed virtually.
Who May Be Eligible?
Children
Virtual mental health support for eligible children experiencing concerns involving attention, behavior, emotions, anxiety, school, or family life. A parent or guardian may need to participate.
Teens
Private, supportive care for teenagers managing anxiety, depression, ADHD, stress, trauma, school pressure, emotional changes, or relationship concerns.
Adults
Convenient psychiatric care and therapy for adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, trauma, stress, relationship concerns, and other mental health needs.
Telehealth availability depends on the patient’s age, requested service, provider, insurance coverage, location, and clinical needs.
