To protect our patients & clinicians as COVID-19 continues to spread, we have instituted new policies at Brownstone Psychiatry. Effective immediately, Telemedicine will be used as a safe & effective means of treating our patients.
What is Telemedicine ?

Telemedicine is the practice of medicine using technology to deliver care at a distance. At Brownstone Psychiatry we use Zoom, a telecommunication service that allows our clinicians to deliver care to our patients.

What will I need for Telemedicine ?

Smartphones, tablets, and computers are all compatible devices for the Zoom application.​​
How to Set Up a Telemedicine Visit
Smartphones & Tablet Users
Step 1 : Download the Zoom App if using a smartphone or tablet and create an account. The username must include the patients first and last name & their DOB (mm/dd/yy).

Step 2 : Call the office at (281) 251-3030, at least 15 min prior to your appointment to submit payment & receive meeting ID.
Step 3 : Click on the Join button.
Step 4 : Lastly, enter Meeting ID and wait for the clinician to connect with you.
Computer Users
Step 1 : Go to zoom.us/signup and create an account. The username must include the patients first and last name & their DOB (mm/dd/yy).
